IT in Hospitals

Hospitals are under pressure. Patients expect modern, digital processes. Staff need systems that reduce workload. Legal requirements for telematics infrastructure, interoperability and future viability demand new IT solutions. In reality many hospitals work with outdated systems, data silos and complex interfaces, while staff must keep services running during IT change.

We know hospital IT. And we know the people who work with it.

Hospital Information Systems (HIS)

A functioning HIS is the core of medical, administrative and organisational workflows. Many existing systems are overloaded, poorly integrated or need to be replaced.

We support hospitals

  • in selecting, introducing or replacing HIS solutions,

  • in process analysis and target-architecture design,
  • in integrating subsystems and medical technology,
  • in tendering and procurement.

Our focus: efficient medical and administrative processes, better patient care and safety, and cost control.

Clinical subsystems

Hospitals run many specialist systems (LIS, RIS/PACS, medication, nursing documentation). These must be integrated and harmonised to avoid redundancies and media breaks.

We support you

  • in selecting and introducing clinical subsystems,

  • in structuring the overall system landscape,
  • in developing integration and migration strategies,
  • in involving and training clinical departments.

Interoperability platforms (IOP)

An IOP is not just technology. It is a strategic lever for digital transformation and a prerequisite for data exchange in hospital groups.

We support you

  1. in developing an interoperability strategy,

  1. in architecture and integration of existing systems,
  2. in data management and implementation of FHIR,
  3. in project and stakeholder management.Einrichtungsgrenzen hinweg – ein zentraler Baustein für moderne, sektorenübergreifende Versorgung.

Telematics infrastructure (TI)

TI is mandatory. Applications such as KIM, eAU, eDoctor’s letter or eMedication must be embedded technically and organisationally.

We support you

  1. in strategic and technical TI integration,

  1. in embedding TI in existing processes,
  2. in data protection, access and training,
  3. with practical, implementable solutions.

Seamless implementation

We work with interoperable components and standardised interfaces, so processes run across all internal and external actors. Cloud, on-premise or hybrid is chosen according to cost, security and scalability.
